lyrics

From the album:

Driving to You
Four Days from Homeless
To Wine
The Day You Left
Camping Ground
Apartment Twelve
Woke Up in a Dream
Lonely Oceans

Apartment Twelve

Apartment twelve is cozy
No matter what you say
Tiny kitchen and all
The neighbors are too noisy
Every Saturday
Running up and down the hall

But I can't complain too much
The best ice cream's right across the street
No I can't complain too much
It's home and at home we are free

The sun makes it feel rosy
When it pours in midday
You can see the leaves turn in the fall
When the trees are naked
Through winter into spring
The Red Cedar seems to call

Ring the broken doorbell
We'll never know you're there
The brown shag carpet says it all
Window's broken downstairs
Beer cans everywhere
The hallway smells like alcohol

Up two and a half flights
First door on the right
The two looks like it's gonna fall
Laundry's in the basement
And you're lucky if
The dryer dries your clothes at all

Take me home
I'll go home
Take me home
I'll go home
